About Rigby Jewellers

Rigby Jewellers of Chester is a traditional family business that was founded by T.H. Rigby and initially based in Ruthin. Shortly after the first world war, the company was moved by E.S. Rigby (the 2nd generation) to Chester, where we are based today. Under his careful guidance the business grew and he was joined by his two sons, John and Martin. Nowadays Jason (son of John) is the 4th generation to enter the retail jewellery scene, forging a strong partnership alongside his father, combining both knowledge and experience with youth and enthusiasm, thus ensuring the continuity of Rigby Jewellers.

We pride ourselves on our customer care and technical expertise built up over many years, through continual in-house training and external courses and seminars. We are members of the National Association of Goldsmiths and are extremely fortunate to be able to boast three trained watch technicians all having gained British Horological Institute qualifications.
