WATER RESISTANT WATCHES
Not all watches are designed to come into contact with water/moisture(eg condensation or steam). There are different levels to which a watch is able to withstand water. It is important to consider the impact with which the watch is likely to hit the water, rather than the static depth.
WATER RESISTANT - accidental splashes only (AVOID water altogether)
50m WATER RESISTANT - bath/showers, swimming(but NOT jumping/diving into the pool)
100m WATR RESISTANT - snorkeling, water skiing, shallow diving(NOT scuba diving)
200m WATER RESISTANT - Scuba diving
