Every piece of Clogau jewellery contains rare Welsh gold as used by some members of the British Royal Family for over 100 years.
The Clogau St David's gold mine, at Bontddu, was once the largest and richest of all the gold mines in the Dolgellau area. Although the mine closed in the late 1990’s, Clogau were able to build up sufficient reserves to continue making their jewellery. Today, Clogau use the rare Welsh gold to create a beautiful collection of jewellery inspired by Wales with each piece containing a touch of rare Welsh gold.
