Astron was created from Seiko's passion for innovation, and now, under the design theme of 'Solidity,' a series of solar timepieces have been created for the innovative future ahead for Seiko watchmaking.
There are just 1,500 pieces of this limited edition available worldwide, with very few in the UK.
Lightweight with strong looks, within a super hard coated titanium case and bracelet, under dual curve sapphire glass crystal the dark turquoise blue dial showcases a 'spiral galaxy' pattern. Within an all-black 43.3mm case and ceramic bezel, with a circular whirling effect, like a galaxy in space - the glittered effect is designed to depict bright stars.
The distinctive 'spiral galaxy' dial pattern in dark turquoise blue is particularly difficult to create on a solar cell whilst maintaining its charge efficiency. This limited edition model has its own contemporary feel, with its sleek lines, slim profile, and compact, angular design it has an almost seamless flow from the case through the lugs and to the bracelet. The bracelet is crafted from titanium for lightweight wearing with a mirror effect centre link and a micro-adjustable clasp feature.
Powered by a new in-house 5X83 solar-powered movement, it not only charges efficiently, but also features a 1/20th of a second chronograph function for measuring elapsed time. The sub dial at 12 o'clock is for the chronograph feature, the sub dial at 9 o'clock for setting modes, and the sub dial at 6 o'clock for a dual-time feature or world time function with 38 cities.

Delivery Information
Our orders are dispatched using Royal Mail and Parcelforce. We aim to dispatch all orders received by 2pm the same day. Should we experience an unexpected delay we will contact you regarding the delivery.
We use Royal Mail 2nd class, Royal Mail 2nd class Signed for (Recorded Delivery), Royal Mail Special Delivery and Parcelforce 48Express. The nature of the item, its weight, its size and its value determine which service is used.
All items will be delivered to the address provided. It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure the address is both accurate and correct.
A signature may be required on delivery.
If there is nobody at home to accept delivery of your parcel when it is delivered, you should receive a ‘missed delivery’ postcard through your letterbox. Please follow the instructions carefully as this will explain where to go to collect your parcel and the necessary documentation to take with you (usually the postcard and proof of your identification).
Uncollected parcels will be returned to us (the sender) as undelivered after 18 days.
What happens if my delivery does not arrive?
Very occasionally deliveries go wrong. If your order does not arrive please contact us preferably by phone 01244 325834 or alternatively by email sales@rigbyjewellers.co.uk and we will try our best to resolve the situation.
Damaged Deliveries.
Rigby Jewellers make every effort to ensure each order leaves us in perfect condition. Should your parcel arrive damaged, when signing for the delivery please sign the receipt as damaged and retain all the packaging. Please contact us preferably by telephone on 01244 325834 or by email sales@rigbyjewellers.co.uk immediately so that we can rectify the situation for you as soon as possible.

Returns Information
We offer a 14 day returns policy.Customers have up to 14 days after the goods dispatch date in which to return items for a refund.
Essentially, all items must be returned in a new and unused condition with all labels and tags attached complete with any accessories or manuals along with the original packaging intact so that the item is in a completely re-sellable condition.You must also include a copy of the original invoice along with the reason for the refund.
Any goods returned with original packaging damaged, or in any way inferior, will not qualify for a refund.
