In 1971, the Datsun 240Z car, also known as the Fairlady Z - adorned with Seiko logo sponsorship - won the East African Safari Rally, one of the world's toughest races. The Datsun 240Z parallels the Seiko Speedtimer with its stylish, resilient and reliable high performance
This Speedtimer watch features many design elements from the original DATSUN 240Z rally car: the colour scheme, the font from the instrument panels of the vehicle and the DATSUN logo on the caseback, dial and clasp. The hard-coated bezel features a tachymeter speed measurement tool. The black LWG-approved leather strap adds a touch of elegance to a sporty design
With its super-hard coating, the flowing case shape of this model was first used in 1972 on the famous Seiko 'Panda.' Under the curved sapphire glass, the black dial is encircled by a countdown timer function. The strong Lumibrite coating on the inner-ring reference triangle allows for the countdown timer to be used with clarity during both day and night - essential for pitwork during long rallies. Compact and comfortable, this Speedtimer has a diameter of 39.5mm, and a water resistance of 200m
The in-house 6R55 automatic calibre is accurate to -15/+25 seconds per day, with a three day power reserve

Delivery Information
Our orders are dispatched using Royal Mail and Parcelforce. We aim to dispatch all orders received by 2pm the same day. Should we experience an unexpected delay we will contact you regarding the delivery.
We use Royal Mail 2nd class, Royal Mail 2nd class Signed for (Recorded Delivery), Royal Mail Special Delivery and Parcelforce 48Express. The nature of the item, its weight, its size and its value determine which service is used.
All items will be delivered to the address provided. It is the purchasers responsibility to ensure the address is both accurate and correct.
A signature may be required on delivery.
If there is nobody at home to accept delivery of your parcel when it is delivered, you should receive a ‘missed delivery’ postcard through your letterbox. Please follow the instructions carefully as this will explain where to go to collect your parcel and the necessary documentation to take with you (usually the postcard and proof of your identification).
Uncollected parcels will be returned to us (the sender) as undelivered after 18 days.
What happens if my delivery does not arrive?
Very occasionally deliveries go wrong. If your order does not arrive please contact us preferably by phone 01244 325834 or alternatively by email sales@rigbyjewellers.co.uk and we will try our best to resolve the situation.
Damaged Deliveries.
Rigby Jewellers make every effort to ensure each order leaves us in perfect condition. Should your parcel arrive damaged, when signing for the delivery please sign the receipt as damaged and retain all the packaging. Please contact us preferably by telephone on 01244 325834 or by email sales@rigbyjewellers.co.uk immediately so that we can rectify the situation for you as soon as possible.

Returns Information
We offer a 14 day returns policy.Customers have up to 14 days after the goods dispatch date in which to return items for a refund.
Essentially, all items must be returned in a new and unused condition with all labels and tags attached complete with any accessories or manuals along with the original packaging intact so that the item is in a completely re-sellable condition.You must also include a copy of the original invoice along with the reason for the refund.
Any goods returned with original packaging damaged, or in any way inferior, will not qualify for a refund.
